NEW DIRECTOR OF LENDING FOR BANK OF IRELAND MORTGAGES IN SCOTLAND

Bank of Ireland Mortgages (BIM) in Scotland has appointed Norrie Henderson as its new Director of Lending for its recently opened office in Edinburgh.

Norrie's plans are to extend BIM's presence in Scotland with its range of exciting and innovative products such as 1st Start, and he will be heading up the operation targeting the Intermediary market in Scotland. The appointment reflects the ongoing commitment of BIM to building a strong market position in Scotland.

Mike Joyce, Managing Director of Bank of Ireland Mortgages, said:

Norrie worked with Lloyds TSB Scotland for 35 years before joining Bank of Ireland as their Director of Lending. He has experience in the retail network, audit and inspection, Offshore Banking, Project Management and Distribution and was Head of Mortgages for Lloyds TSB Scotland.

Married with two children Norrie is on the council of the National House-Building Council (NHBC), a Director of Enlighten a charity dealing with epilepsy and is a past Chairman of the Council of Mortgage Lenders in Scotland.
