Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking announces new Head of Institutional Banking

Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking today (Monday 24 July 2006) announced the appointment of Katrina Strecker as Head of Institutional Banking following the retirement of Finbarr O'Neill. Katrina's appointment is with immediate effect.

Katrina joined the Bank in 1974 and has held a number of positions in Corporate Banking including Director - Investment Grade Lending and Head of Portfolio Management, Institutional Banking. Her responsibilities will include international corporate lending, structured credit, agency & transaction support and customer relationship management.

According to Tom Hayes, Chief Executive, Bank of Ireland Corporate Banking, I am delighted to announce the appointment of Katrina Strecker as Head of Institutional Banking. Katrina's expertise and skills will bring added value as we develop and grow our institutional businesses and she will support the business to drive our ambitious growth strategy that will focus on expanding our corporate banking business in high growth sectors in international markets.
