Bank of Ireland's US Dollar Liquidity Fund Currently Ranked Number One Worldwide

Bank of Ireland Global Markets announced today (Sunday 25 September 2005) that iMoneyNet - one of the world's leading providers of money market fund information - ranked Bank of Ireland US Dollar Liquidity Fund as the top performing fund of its type worldwide year to date. The fund currently ranks ahead of over 150 other funds, including funds managed by JP Morgan, Citibank and Barclays. Bank of Ireland remains the only Irish bank to offer Liquidity funds as part of its treasury product offering.

Bank of Ireland's Euro and Sterling Liquidity Funds, which were launched late last year are also performing strongly and have consistently ranked in the top five best performing funds of their type by iMoneyNet year to date. Average year to date returns are 2.08 and 4.79 for the EUR and GBP funds respectively. The funds are designed for multinationals, large Irish corporates, asset managers and financial institutions that hold a portion of their assets in cash deposits.
The Bank of Ireland Global Market's US Dollar Liquidity Fund won iMoneyNet's top performing offshore liquidity fund in 2003 and was number 2 in 2004. The funds benefit from an Aaa/MR1+ rating by Moody's rating agency and offer investors the benefit of daily liquidity, security of capital whilst earning an enhanced overnight yield.
