STAGEWISE @ Bank of Irelandintroduces a new series of amateur performance presentations by drama students age 12 upwards. Drama performances will be held on Saturdays in the Bank of Ireland Arts Centre, Foster Place, Dublin 2 at 1:15pm.Playdough Theatre Company,was formed by a group of friends, Clodagh Ryan, Allyson Prizeman and Bairbre Sexton, will present the first performance of this new exciting, vibrant series.
The launching presentation is an adaptation of John Godber's'Shakers'.It is a comic, slice of modern life performed by an all female cast who play a multitude of roles. 'Shakers' spans one night and revolves around three waitresses, one cocktail bar and a number of customers. It is a fast-moving, bitter-sweet cocktail of love, disappointment and expectations.
