    Students can also apply for:

According to Patrick Farrell, Marketing Manager, Personal Banking, Bank of Ireland: 'Our banking package is designed to ease student cash flow and to do something that actually helps students every week of the year, not just the first week back at college. At the last estimate, the cost of living for students stood at €699 per month or €6,291 for the academic year. Even if a student receives the basic grant they must still provide 47% of this funding themselves.

With our package, cash flow problems can be eased without necessarily getting into debt. For example, if students are eligible for the grant we'll give them the money now, interest free for nine months. The same applies to any tax rebates that are due from working abroad. Just let us know and we can offer you an advance until the money arrives. These are the initiatives that make a difference to students and is our investment in securing future business,' concluded Farrell.
