Bank of Ireland Business Banking has introduced a comprehensive guide to facilitate businesses that wish to move their current accounts. The Switch Pack outlines and explains each of the key steps that an account holder takes in order to move their account from one financial institution to another.
The Switch Pack includes a detailed checklist outlining the relevant steps and provides sample letters and forms to help make all the necessary changes. These can be tailored by businesses to suit their own requirements.
According to Dermot Nolan, Head of Business Marketing, Bank of Ireland Business Banking: "Switching accounts is a time consuming process and we realise that it is an issue for some businesses. By introducing the Switch Pack, we hope to reassure and support businesses wishing to switch from their current financial institution.
"Bank of Ireland is committed to giving real value to our business customers and we are confident that our current account proposition will compare favourably with any in the market. Key features include 2 years' free banking for business start-ups, a comprehensive account opening pack, and a network of over 270 branches throughout the country. In addition, customers have the added advantage of being able to manage all their banking affairs through 'Business On Line', offering both cost and efficiency benefits to the business current account proposition. Our Specialist Business Bank offers support to business customers with more complex business requirements."
Responding to the introduction of the guide, Mr. Pat Delaney, Director, Small Firms Association said: "We have for some time being advocating that financial institutions should assist customers wishing to switch their business current accounts. We are very pleased that Bank of Ireland Business Banking has the confidence in its own business proposition to produce this practical guide which will be very helpful to anyone wishing to change from their current institution."
